FNaF World Free Download for PC Full Version
FNaF World is a role-playing game.
Featuring the entire cast from the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, this fantasy RPG will let players control their favorite animatronics in a an epic animated adventure!
With 40 playable characters, multiple endings, multiple difficulties, and a great soundtrack from artist Leon Riskin, FNaF World hits the ground running and doesn’t stop. Take control of Freddy and the gang as they set out on a quest in the world beneath worlds, a world that reflects the actions and deeds of the “flipside”, where things have started becoming distorted and broken. Lead your team deeper into this digital world to find the source of these glitches and monsters, and restore it to what it was designed to be- a safe haven.
But be careful, behind the curtain there may be something even more sinister pulling the strings…
A few beginner’s tips:
Although many parts of your quest will be self-explanatory, here are a few explanations for things that you might need some help with!
Bytes: Bytes are small animatronic helpers that you can buy with Faz Tokens (earned from battle). Purchase Bytes from Lolbit, who you can find in several locations around the world map. You can have four Bytes equipped at any time.
Chips: Chips have different effects in battle, ranging from attacks to healing commands. Find them in treasure chests scattered around the world map. You can have four chips equipped at once.
Here are a few unusual battle commands and what they do:
Birthday- Temporarily increases attack, defense, and speed. Very useful in the early parts of the game.
Waterhose- Instantly kills enemies under 30% health.
Giftboxes- Puts a gift-box at the feet of each of your team members. When they die, it will automatically bring them back to life with full health.
Hot Cheese- Put globs of hot cheese on the floor, doing damage-over-time to enemies.
Unscrew- 30% chance of instant death to one enemy.
Esc Key- Chance of death for all enemies on screen. (less likely to work than Unscrew)
Mystery Box- Swaps out all members of your party for random characters. They go back to normal after the battle is over.
Prize Ball- Performs a random attack.
Jumpscare- Stuns enemies for a few seconds. Less effective on bosses.
FNaF World Review
Random encounters are often frowned upon for the same reasons from game to game. These reasons include:
1: Interruption of map exploration, which is frequently more rewarding than the actual battles, often leading to the acquisition of new weapons, characters, and the very story of the game.
2: Micro-management of resources. The player often has to balance party HP and MP in order to continue exploring, and until self-sufficiency on the field is achieved, each battle is considered a drain on resources. For this reason, certain costly skills and spells are often used sparingly, and players restrict themselves by using only basic attacks until they absolutely must break out the big guns.
3: Forced upkeep of the party. Especially frustrating when the encounter rate is high, players must make frequent visits to item screens, oftentimes simply to top off a character’s health in preparation for the worst. Thus, an encounter can often mean not only the battle itself, but the post-battle healing process as well–a chore in addition to an imposition.
In the spirit of tradition, many games of the genre adhere to the above, despite the unpleasantry, and RPG-lovers either ignore, or tolerate, the status quo. Mr. Cawthon, the creator of FNaF World, has attempted to mitigate some of the inherent problems mentioned–while still making an RPG that absolutely smacks of the old-school–and in this reviewer’s opinion, succeeds.
His method for doing so involves simple streamlining–the removal of elements that, while initially missed, result in the player’s liberation from busywork. This leaves one with a game that is mostly, well, game.
There is no MP bar in FNaF World. Each character comes with 3 moves permanently associated with that character. While these moves can never be changed or swapped in any way (at least so far as I know), they can be used infinitely as the player sees fit.
HP bars refill completely for your party members between battle automatically. Characters who fell in battle are also revived.
Healing items do not exist, at least in the traditional sense. One only needs to heal while in battle, and this is accomplished with character moves, or with specific “bytes,” which one buys one time, activates, and then forgets about for the rest of the game as it assists them in battle automatically.
As you explore the map, your party, consisting of 8 characters split between 2 teams of 4, will be challenged by old characters from the FNaF franchise who, upon their defeat, will be available to swap in and out of one of your teams (alternatively, there exists a mode where you must play as fixed characters throughout the game). Teams can be switched in and out of battle with a single click, giving you access to your entire team of 8 at any time. Aside from party composition, you will only be concerning yourself with “chips” and “bytes.” The former provide buffs to the party, and the latter provide little helper units, such as healers, attackers, and so on. In both categories, 4 of each can be equipped.
The end result of this sort of design is a game focused on exploration, storytelling, and lightning-round-like battles, which remain surprisingly fun and engaging since the challenge of them remains in the here and now, and no negative effects or responsibilities trail along afterward to taint your victory.
The map offers plenty of secrets and oddities that will keep you curious, and the storytelling retains the “more than meets the eye” style Mr. Cawthon is so good at treating the player to. Whatever you do, don’t listen to the cynics who claim this game is some sort of lazy cash grab: they betray themselves, as either having never played the game, or as failing to scratch even the surface of it. If you have an attention span greater than that of a gnat, I can assure you it will take minimal effort to see the TLC put into this experience.
As for the obligatory paragraph devoted to graphics and sound, the game is very pleasing to the eye, with character designs reflecting the fans’ love of the animatronics. Even the more disturbing characters are cute in this game, and the enemy models are creative and appropriate to the world. Battle backgrounds are a bit blurry, and while they are by no means the center of attention, I do believe they are functioning as intended, giving the game a very dreamlike, “child’s imagination” sort of feeling. Sounds are all appropriate, and music ranges from non-offensive to decently catchy and even fairly epic, depending on the situation. And the sudden shift in tone when the player stumbles across something less-than-cheerful does its job of letting you know you’d better pay attention.
As for criticism, I would warn FNaF fans that you need to be a little open-minded when forming your party. You can make an all-Foxy team, sure, but some iterations of other characters are just too useful to pass up. A determined fan of a given animatronic may wonder why they were not given the option to customize their favorite character’s skills, but this would have led to each character being the same, ultimately. Forcing specific skills upon specific characters makes them feel unique–special, as they should be. Ultimately, I do not consider this a major problem, and I believe each character is represented well–in one form or another.
In the end, FNaF World is an experiment gone right, rewarding the player at a consistent pace with interesting items and welcomed faces, keeping itself fresh all the while as the player uncovers the dark secret beneath its (adorable) surface.
